#1 USE YOUR TIME WISELY

You'll be paying by the hour, so the time you spend is very valuable.
As soon as you reel in a shrimp, quickly put on some bait and put the sucker back in.

#2 ALL ABOUT THE BAIT

Free bait is provided, but it's not always the best choice.
Ask for a better bait (usually free), especially if they notice that you haven't caught anything.

#3 PATIENCE IS THE KEY

However you want to spend that time waiting, it's all about being patient.
Socialize and drink some beer. Without even trying, a shrimp will latch onto your bait.

#4 LESS CROWDED

Go where it's less crowded, but not completely isolated from people.
I like to stay around the corners or move to an area where people just caught some for themselves.

#5 IT'S ALL ON THE WRIST

The trick is to tug slowly. As soon as you see the floaty moving or going under water, usually a shrimp has latched onto your bait. Tug a little and if you feel there's some sort of hold onto your line, quickly yank it out from the water. TADA! - you have a shrimp!
